On 10 August, we had pleasant run to Port Blandford, we rang Jenny and Rick, couple we had met at the Cook's house in Miramichi, and they gave us directions to their house in Cannings Cove. Pleasant day with the family, we slept in a van on their driveway.

Sunday 11 August - we walked 15 minutes through brush to lake, 10 minutes across lake in in their small motorboat to their cabin. Beautiful scenery and beautiful 2 bedroomed cabin. They said we can stay there any time. Rick's elderly parents live next door to them. Lovely family.

We arranged to leave Monday 12th, just as we were packing a phone call from man who rents Ricks boat to say a load of snow crabs were available.
